Hi Redditors,

The last couple of days have been a roller coaster of emotions.

Last Friday I stopped the ivf meds cos they weren’t working for me. So the doc said ok why don’t we do a hysteroscopy to make sure your uterus is nice and clean and nothing gets in the way for when we transfer the embryos. Ok agreed!

Went in Monday for the procedure got all ready for the theatre, they took a urine sample and it was fucking positive for pregnancy! 🤯

The doc thinks it’s the ivf med Menopur which I think so too as it is derived from HCG. But we can’t be sure until I do the second beta blood test on Friday.

My first beta came back at 97 yesterday!

Has anyone had this experience before with Menopur???

Hi everyone,

My cycle was cancelled on Friday due to poor response and I didn’t not trigger.
3 days later on Sunday, I am not very lightly spotting. It’s brownish in color.

Is this normal after a cancelled cycle?

The doctor said it might take a while for my period to come back so I was not expecting it back this fast.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Hi everyone,

I have 3 untested embryos from a retrieval I did 4 years ago.
Day 5 4BA Day 6 3BC and Day 7 4CC. I unfortunately have had implantation failure with 2x 4 AA embryos previously on fully medicated cycles.

I have a hysteroscopy scheduled for next week to make sure there aren’t any hurdles for implantation for the remaining embryos.

What else can I do to increase my chance of implantation? Mock transfer cycle?

I’m already taking supplements, doing acupuncture and diet changes.

For context - I’m 40 and have 2 living children conceived naturally who are 8 and 3.

Just went for my 2nd scan and found out that one out of my 2 eggs have vanished whilst on stim (Menopur only). WTH!

Has this happened to anyone else?

We haven’t cancelled the cycle just yet. Doc has added Gonal F to the protocol but if no improvements are seen by Friday then the cycle will be cancelled.

Hey Everyone,

I’ve just had my baseline scan to start my first ER and we could only see 2 follicles, one in each ovary.

Has anyone started with 2 follicles but ended up with more eggs at retrieval?

My AMH was .9 at last bloods.

Just looking for positive stories cos I’m feeing very anxious.
