Hi everyone,
I’m currently using the Vivo x300 and I'm looking to push its telephoto capabilities even further. I’ve been eyeing two specific lens kits, but there is a massive price gap between them and I’m torn.
1. The "Official" Zeiss 2.35x Telephoto Lens Kit (via Giztop)
- Price: Around $250 - $300
- Specs: Zeiss T* coating, 13 elements in 3 groups.
- Pros: Seamless integration with Vivo’s processing, Zeiss optics, probably the best sharpness for that 200MP sensor.
2. PICKOGEN 2X Telephoto Converter
- Price: Around $70 - $80
- Specs: 7 elements in 5 groups, 17mm thread mount.
- Pros: Incredible value. Claims to turn the 5x optical into a 10x (240mm equivalent) without digital crop loss.
The Dilemma: The Zeiss kit costs nearly 3 to 4 times more than the Pickogen. If I go for the full Zeiss setup with a professional cage, the total hits almost $400 - $500.
