Need advice

Need help, i am a newer tech and i am at a tier 4 store where we have terrible staffing to the point where I often close the front and drive thru by myself for 5 hours or more. Cenfill has been taking alot of the prescriptions to help us out i guess but the costumers DONT CARE. Like what is the point if i have to pull every cenfill back. Like what do yall tell customers to make them understand they can wait another 12 hours it will be here in the morning 😭.

I know this may be harsh but i feel that busy stores such as mine should be able to decide the rules on drive thru. I feel that if it is not a in and out thing you need to come inside, i am tired of one person taking 15 mins and messing up the flow of the line. Now the entire line for the next hour is pissed off at me. And then i feel if the drive through line is long, one person per car unless they are there. No “im picking up for 5 people” and 3 of them have insurance issues. If you are picking up for anyone but yourself come inside. 5 people and i take 5 mins looking for one person bc its over 8 days old and i cant find it in the mound of 50’s. Now the drive thru is in the street and inside is to the makeup department.
