Payment by Card challenges

Just finished a recent Greece trip. I was pleased to see payment by card more readily accepted than my previous trip a few years ago. However, two issues:
- the staff just get you to swipe your card without giving the option for a tip, quite a few places I wanted to tip but couldn’t because the transaction was already rung through the card machine
- they expect you to scan your card without seeing the amount they coded in; was overcharged €7 due to this for stuff I had ordered but didn’t receive. Easy to rectify, but it’s a lot on trust.

Bacon cremated but that’s how I like it. Not had lorne sausages before but doubt I’ll bother with them again. Haggis was a nice complement.
