Hi I've been sewing for a long time but this is my first time getting into fursuit making! I'm making my friend some arm sleeves of a sona I designed for them and the arms have stripes on them (striped hyena). I've noticed with both arm sleeves that where the stripes are there's different tension in the fabric, making it unable to lay flat when shaving. Not only that but the bulk from the hand stitching makes it more dangerous to shave in those areas because they're slightly raised off the ground. I wanted to know if there are ways to avoid this in the future, as I hope to do more in the future.
