I'm a US citizen scouting graduate schools ahead of time while in a committed relationship. My partner is able to work remote and if we were ideally to move together he'd plan on keeping his US job. Have been looking at UK government sites but they only provide roundabout answers.

Does anyone have an idea if partners/spouses can enter/remain in England while being US-employed if their partner has a student visa?
