I was cleaning my PC (for the third time in my life) and reapplying thermal paste on the CPU (for the first time in my life) this afternoon, and after putting everything back together, when I turn my PC on, the monitors don't work.

I have 2 monitors, they are connected to my PC via Display Cable, and on startup the screen says "Display Cable Inactive" before going to sleep.

I've re-plugged both ends of both Display Cables, restarted the PC 3 times, and even tried re-mounting the GPU thinking maybe I put it back wrong.

It's as stable in its socket as I can make it, and when I start the PC, the letters on the side that say "GEFORCE RTX" do light up, but its fans aren't spinning, and, as mentioned above, it seems not to be sending signals to the screens.

Next to the power button on the PC case there's a blue light that's constantly on, and a red light flashing in a pattern.

I'm still trying to write down the length of the pauses between flashes, I'm very bad at rhythms and there are short, long and *really long* pauses in it that I'm bad at distinguishing from eachother. I'll add the rhythm in an edit once I have it.

I live in the EU if that makes a difference.

Have I just broken my GPU? What do I do?
