Hey yall, working on my first guitar and I’m finally at the finishing step. I’m putting glossy lacquer on the body, but for the neck I’m thinking that tru oil or something of the like might be better, replacing the sticky plastic feel of lacquer with smooth wood. Is this a valid idea and if so will it look weird having 2 different types of finish? Any other possible concerns? Thank yall!
