I just gotta say it. The Marvel Rivals community has such a toxic player base. I swear every character is hated. You play Wanda, you're throwing. Squirrel girl, no skill. Spiderman, you're a larper. Hela, you're boring. Magneto, you have no life. Cloak and Dagger, you're braindead... And so on. Literally anyone you play, you're going to get clowned.
And let me just say this, Marvel Rivals doesn't have "skillful" characters. With maybe the sole exception of Spiderman. But pretty much everyone else is incredibly straightforward. The game does not have any insanely difficult mechanics or inputs to master. Instead, most of the skill expression comes from game sense and game knowledge. Someone who understands the flow of a match and knows the characters/maps will do much better than someone who's really good at aiming for example.
All that to say, stop calling characters' skill-less. Or complaining about who others play. C&D, Jeff, Wanda, Squirrel Girl, etc. You're not better than people who play these characters just because you play a hit scan or BP and think that makes you a god.
Like, sure maybe some characters are marginally more difficult but its all so low level that it doesn't matter. You're 5' 6.5" tall and you're calling a 5'6" tall person short.
It's a game. Let people have fun how they want.
And before anyone comments that I'm just defending characters I play. I play Rogue so its not about that.
