Am I the only one who didn't know that if you turn your back to an enemy Daredevil's ultimate, you don't take any damage?

I discovered this in a video and went to test it in a match, and it really works

I would say plat is low elo tho, diamond and gm being called low elo is just stupid because if there a high and low elo then there’s a mid elo 😭

Tank Players: Stop enabling idiots and going solo Mag or Strange

Even if you somehow win a ranked game, you only get +16 to +18 anyway, Netease also shits on tank players in XP gains too.

Doesn't matter how much damage you blocked or the other dirty work you did for the greedy Duelist players on your team. They'll get a nice +20 or more because their solo tank had to deal with a whole lotta bullshit to create space for them/assist with frags.

You might as well solo tank on somebody you enjoy and make the 3 Duelists or strategists on your team regret not learning a viable tank.

Tanks need more love, Netease has done a horrendous job with them and I hope that improves.

DPS PSA: Peeling isn't to keep the supports alive. It's to keep the rest of the team alive.

I've been seeing a few posts about peeling lately that I think are missing the point a little. I'm no expert, but I'm a flex player who plays QP and comp between gold and diamond, depending on the season.

Most backlines have the ability to deal with a dive without dying if they play somewhat competently. Between patty caking and offensive abilities, supports don't necessarily need peeling to stay alive. I understand the DPS frustration of thinking, well, why do two characters with a good amount of offense between them need me to come in and help them kill one person? Like, yeah, I understand why it might seem aggravating for an Invis and Gambit to say they need help killing something. And as a support player, most of the time I can get out of a dive if I'm playing a character I'm good at. Leave your backline alone to deal with a dive, and they'll probably make it out.

You might not make it out, though.

Peeling isn't just about saving your supports' lives. It's about saving them time and cooldowns. The more time your supports take to kill the dive, the more time they can't direct their healing and cooldowns at the frontline and DPS.

If I'm playing cloak in the backline and fighting Spiderman, my daggers and terror capes aren't going to heal you and make whoever you're fighting easier to kill. They're getting fired at the spiderman. If I'm playing invis, my shield is going on myself and my push and pull is getting the dive away, instead of shielding you and pulling in an out-of-position enemy for you to kill. I want to use my luna snowflake on you while you flank, but I can't if I have to use it on myself to get more damage.

As a DPS, also, it's your job to get picks. If the backline is getting dove, that means that there is a member of the enemy team isolated and near your healers. If you can peel right away, that's prime opportunity to pick them off, because you'll get healing while engaging while they won't. Then you and the healers can immediately turn your attention back to the frontline. If you don't peel, then your supports might still make it and pick off the dive, but you'll be engaging the other team without any heals.

This also helps your tanks keep pressure. If your supports can't pump healing into the tanks, damage is so oppressive in this game they'll have no choice but to retreat and take cover. And guess who that leaves exposed? The DPS.

A prime skill of teamwork in Marvel Rivals is focusing targets. If someone is diving supports, they're already being focused by two members of your team. It's basic gamesense to turn around and help out. This is a team game. The more you help your team, the more they can help you.

Let me know your thoughts.
