Hitachi Split AC Service – Reliance Digital’s Hidden Costs & Warranty Failure
I purchased a Hitachi Split AC with a five‑year extended service warranty from Reliance Digital. Recently, the AC stopped working and required gas refilling. I raised a service request but even after 15 days, there has been no resolution.
Instead of honoring the warranty, Reliance Digital has only given me standard responses and excuses. On top of that, they seem to have hidden costs attached to service, which were never disclosed at the time of purchase.
This feels like outright fraud. I’ve already sent them a formal notice demanding repair, but if they continue to ignore it, I am prepared to escalate the matter legally.
Has anyone here pursued legal action against Reliance Digital (or similar retailers) for warranty/service failures? Is it worthwhile to file a consumer case in such situations?
Any advice or shared experiences would be really helpful.
