I would like to know how the racism against northeast indians should be tackled? they have very low media representation in the country itself also because of their mongoloid facial features they face a lot of discrimination every where. i haven't seen any post related to this topic.
so i have been thinking about it quite a while and have myself experienced it, we Indians lack soft power and mainly because of our popculture like if you look at the movies from past 20 years most of them are just not good enough to get global audience even decades ago legendary satyajeet rai said that we have a backward audience. In most movies what we see? item songs, same shitty love story, etc. while if we look at japanese anime, kpop, american movies, chinese video games are just next level. we indian needs to do something about our pop culture and needs to max out atleast one segment of it. The cultural effect of pop culture is just alot. We lack sophisticated consumers.
Guys lets get this straight every country have their own problem but we indians atp are just catching stray bullets, yes indian society lacks civic sense and we don't focus much on cleanliness but we are working on it. Even Japan, s-korea, singapore also had similar problems just like us but they fixed it over the decades we are also working on ourselves and one day things will change.
There are so many countries with even worse condition then us and every country got its own problems americans cant afford healthcare at all there healthcare is even worse then ours, pakistan is terror exporter, usa have destroyed so many countries and killed millions etc but we get all the racism WHY?
