New g20 V denting cases
I’m a new 10mm owner! I got this g20 V for woods carry. I live in griz country so I decided to upgrade from my 9mm.
So far Iv put about 200rds through this pistol and had 1 nose up FTF with a grizzly 200g hardcast.
I am reading I may need a stiffer recoil spring? I am really hoping to not have to mess with the gun. I have since cleaned a lubbed it and ran another box of 20 hot 10mm loads thru with no failures.
I guess my question is, if my gun is sending the shell casings 35+ ft away and denting the cases on the slide do I need a stiffer spring? This thing eats all the 180g target ammo fine but I’m going to be carrying 200g or 220g hardcast ammo for bear defense. Also got a lot more underwood hardcast commin to test out. I’ve been keeping an eye on lead fouling and I clean my barrel out frequently. Any advice is appreciated!
