I ran the first session of the VISCID operation from A Night at the Opera recently and we ended in a weird spot I'm not sure how to get the agents out of. I'm still new at running DG - this is only the third operation we've done after Last Things Last and Reverberations.
Relevant facts are that there were only two agents that session, though one or two more may join next time (players couldn't make it to that particular session). The pair decided to investigate the body of Amanda Griffin at the county medical examiner and successfully convinced the coroner to do an autopsy with them present. The first day, they stopped the autopsy the moment they saw anything unusual and decided to come back with Hazmat gear. So the examination continues the following day, this time provoking the nascent Ulee-Three to jump from the body and attack; it tore up the examiner's arm a bit before the agents shot it to death.
The agents scooped up its body and fled the scene (after calling an ambulance for the doctor). They drove out of town a ways before opening the trunk with the Ulee-thing's body and exposing it to sunlight, neutralizing it completely. Now they've returned to town, but I'm not really sure how they can continue the operation when surely the police would be looking for them since they fired shots in the medical office and fled the scene! I'm not American so maybe the FBI have more immunity than I thought, but I would assume that surely the police would want to take them in for questioning or something. We ended the last session on a cliffhanger confrontation with some officers at the site of detective Wells' shooting, and I'm wracking my brain on how to keep things from going totally off the rails.
