Converting Single Tap to Dual Tap: Gas Line Placement Issue

Alright so I recently decided to upgrade my Edgestar KC2000A single tap kegerator to a dual-tap tower. I plan to have beer on one and a carbonated cocktail in a corny keg for the other, so the kegs need to be at different pressure. I’ve already installed the dual-tap tower and a dual-stage regulator. I have the corny keg and ball lock connectors.

The only issue I’m facing is where to run a second gas line. My model of kegerator has a hole large enough for just the one gas line. I’d prefer not to drill into the fridge unless I’m SURE there’s nothing important I’d be drilling through. There does seem to be an “indent” where the current gas line hole is, but I can’t find any info regarding drilling there. I don’t want to brick my fridge.

Other options I’m considering are drilling a hole through the back of the tower itself (I have enough space there to run the line through it) or perhaps filing/drilling a gap in the tower’s baseplate and running it through there. Obviously there’s an aesthetic concern here, but that’s less important to me than guaranteeing my setup functions.

Any ideas? What simple solution am I too dumb to have considered?
