I'm wondering if more people have encountered a quite annoying interaction with JP HOME about the delivery of your chair(s). I have ordered 2 Herman Miller Gaming Embody's and everything went really smooth until JP HOME got involved. I'm from Europe and I will admit my French is far from good to be able to communicate on a decent level. So first I did receive the SMS message from JP HOME with a link to arrange a date for delivery. However there was no option for a date, therefor I couldn't confirm the delivery date. I tried contacting JP HOME but even though there is a BENELUX variant, they were simply not able to communicate with me in ANY other language than French. If I would message them in English I would only get a reply back in French. So instead I went to contact Herman Miller themselves, which again responded quite quickly. I got another link from JP HOME this time a different site to again try and arrange a date of delivery.
Again no option to select any date and from the looks of it this meant for the rest of the year. Basically it was a calendar with all dates locked. I'm now at the point that I have again contacted Herman Miller and well from this point on I have no idea what the further steps will be. I did suggest that JP HOME just selects a date and sends me the date they picked and I will make sure someone is home.
So basically everything from ordering till sending goes really smooth so I can't really blame Herman Miller on this, but now it needs to be delivered it really feels sluggish and I am actually wondering if I will ever receive anything.
So do any other of you have a similiar experience and how did you eventually resolve it?
