I didn’t expect Chiraiya to affect me like this, but it genuinely made me a bit uneasy about arranged marriages
Not in an obvious way, more in the small things. The adjusting, the things people don’t say, how certain behaviour just gets accepted over time
No one is forcing anything, but it still doesn’t feel like a real choice sometimes
That’s what felt scary to me
I’m not saying all arranged marriages are like this, but it did make me think about how much people actually know before getting into one
