I decided to join and share this because I saw someone else here having issues with the exact same model, so I wanted to add my experience to the pile. I bought the Redragon K671 on January 31st to replace an Onikuma G27 (that thing was a ghosting nightmare for programming). The K671 felt okay at first, but it didn't even last a semester. Here’s the list of failures:

  • The "Ghost" Windows Key: One day the Windows key just died. I panicked, unplugged the board, and plugged it back in—nothing. I had to switch USB ports for it to work again (magic?).
  • Gaming issues (W key): The "W" key would randomly stop registering while holding it down. This was incredibly frustrating in Fortnite and Helldivers 2. Imagine trying to run from a Bile Titan and your character just stops.
  • Severe Chattering: The "L" and "E" keys started double-typing constantly. I tried to fix it by swapping those switches with the ones from the Numpad about 4 times. I ended up losing the plastic keycap and switch pullers in the process because I was constantly swapping them trying to find a fix. Even with the Numpad switches, the new ones failed again after a couple of days. Definitely a PCB/firmware issue.

The Warranty Odyssey (Colombia 🇨🇴): I thought I was stuck with a paperweight since international shipping from Colombia is expensive. Redragon's support was a loop of death. I contacted them and received a generic email stating they were only "distributors" and couldn't help because I didn't buy directly from their site. They told me to contact the "manufacturer," who then just pointed me back to the same support page. It was a dead end.

Luckily, Amazon saved me. Even though I lost the plastic puller and the metal switch extractor from all the swapping, I sent it back in its original box using a prepaid DHL label they provided.

I dropped it off at DHL in April. Amazon already sent the refund confirmation for $25.49, but I'm still waiting for the bank to actually show the money.

Specs for the bot:

  • Board: Redragon K671
  • Switches: Redragon Reds (Hot-swap)
  • Keycaps: Stock PBT
  • Problem: Chattering, random key disconnects, and PCB failure.

Verdict: 2/10. If you value your sanity while gaming or coding, stay away. Amazon support is the only reason I’m not at a total loss rn :<

The \"support loop\" red dragon email. They claimed they were just distributors and sent me back to the start.

Sound test from day one: Comparing the Redragon K671 (Red Switches) with my old keyboard that had a broken Numpad.
