Are store brand ingredient changes ever advertised?

There was a change with the croissants in the recent past. I used to buy them regularly but there was a long break without, and when I bought a pack again I noticed the label showing different ingredients.

I didn't find any news online related to this kind of change.

Retail brands make that "new improved formula" announcement on the package, as another example of advertising changes.

I used to get campaigns every once in a while but even that has stopped. I think I had gotten an irrelevant copy-pasted response for an issue a few years ago but now I get no response whatsoever.

Since creating an account 2.5-3 years ago, I've always had problems with not getting the separate sign-up sample delivered after receiving the confirmation that I would get it in a few weeks. After this happened several times over almost a year, I contacted support. I didn't get a response but an old sample from multiple sample offers ago arrived a few weeks later.

The issue with samples not arriving just continued. After a long while, I contacted support again (more recently) and again there was no response but shortly after, an old sample showed up in my mailbox, but this time it was in a plastic bag from the post office written with "we happened to find this mail in our storage in this damaged condition, we don't know what could have happened". The original plastic mailing bag from TBC was cut in a neat line right at the place where someone would cut it when they were opening their mail with a sharp tool.

When I logged in I noticed there was an open campaign for something I didn't sign up for (a review in French for a product I likely opted out of). I contacted support again briefly reiterating the problem. Again, no response but they simply changed the campaign requirements to English. That's not what I asked for.

I also realized that I had stopped getting campaigns in general (aside from the weird one that CS randomly activated). It's been about a year (if not longer) of no campaigns when I used to get one every few months. My reviews are well-done so no problems there.

Something is very wrong and it's not being fixed. Seems like TBC tells their team or the post office to check their warehouse when I send a message but they don't fix the problem.

Has anyone in BC gotten Amazon GC offers?

I just found out certain provinces are ineligible for Amazon's own review program (probably due to tax laws) so I'm wondering if this is true for Influenster as well.

I'm about to start a review and noticed that I don't see the list of requirements that I've always seen with my other programs (note, I usually get them very infrequently with long periods in between so I'm still not that knowledgeable).

It took a while to ship but I think I remember seeing it had the typical requirements for this type of product before claiming but maybe I'm misremembering because I had another task somewhat recently (very unusual for me) which had the typical requirements to show yourself using the product, before and after, etc.. Both are skin care products.

Right now looking through the task pages, there is pretty much no requirement, not even to include a picture. Does this sound right? Can I rest assured that I got a really simple task this time and just submit a written review with no other content? Or am I not looking in the right places to find the requirement?

I bought a two-jar pack of kalamata olives about two weeks ago. The first jar was fine. I opened the remaining jar a few days ago and noticed right away that it had an usual and unpleasant odor. It smells like fertilizer (going in the direction of manure).

We've eaten pickled olives for many years and bought them from Costco many times. This is the first time we've encountered this. The jar was kept in a normal cool, dry environment as we usually keep unopened jars.

At first I assumed something was wrong with my nose and ignored the smell. But the smell is still there after a couple of days and other people complained about a terrible stink when I took out the jar from the fridge. I also got unusually very fatigued and got an odd migraine since eating the olives (which tasted heavier and had the stinky aroma but I didn't notice anything super obvious as far as taste, again I was shrugging it off). I thought my body was just being weird for some unknown reason but maybe it's these off olives.

Anyway, it seems clear I should be tossing this jar. Given that it seems to be a bad batch from purchase, I'm wondering if I can get a refund. It's been opened recently but not consumed much (just a few). I still have the receipt from a couple of weeks ago. Would I be able to get refunded for this item?

I bought a two-jar pack of Elara brand pitted Kalamata olives from Costco about two weeks ago. I finished one jar a few days ago and opened the second jar.

I noticed right away the second jar smells different. It's a lot more pungent and heady, a bit like fertilizer (not quite manure but going that direction). I ignored it, thinking it would dissipate or maybe something was up with my nose, and assumed this was more or less normal. The taste is mostly the same with that additional pungent aroma, and probably a stronger, heavier briny flavor.

It's been 3-4 days and that smell is still there. Other people in the house said they noticed a strong and unusual stink coming from the olives when I brought it out.

We've eaten many jars of olives over the years and don't remember encountering this smell. The second jar was kept in a normal environment (not in fridge) for only a couple of weeks before being opened (now in fridge, still stinky). The first jar in the same plastic ring-bound pack seemed fine. The ingredients are typical: the olives, red wine vingar, olive oil, garlic / spices, and a few other typical things.

I did some searching online and read that signs of pickled foods spoiling can include a rotten egg or sulfuric smell. I'm uncertain whether this fertilizer smell is the same as that. I didn't notice anything else being off with the olives.

What do you make of this? Is this a normal, safe phemonemon for this kind of food product? Has it gone bad?
