I have just bought my first Bialetti. Read the instructions, checked the pictures and there is this last image, that the instructions don't mention. It shows as if I should remove something from the valve? I have used mokapots before, but their valve seemed to be empty. Should I try to remove the nail-like thing from the valve?

I appreciate any help, can't wait to try out the new mokapot tomorrow morning!
