salam, i’ll be getting my aqid done by the end of the year inshallah. but my main issue is to do with money and how it could possibly work. both me and my partner are currently studying and only just started our studies. we are looking to get engaged by the end of the year but taking into account the mehr (which i’ve discussed lowering or breaking it up into smaller payment across a time to help. which he said he won’t allow) rings and the other things to do with a aqid, ive come to realise it will put him in a tight spot. i’ve spoken about it myself and am willing to work with what he can. but the issue is im getting backlash from my parents regarding the matter and me even discussing something less just to make it easier since we’re both students ends in a massive argument and them saying they won’t allow it to happen. he currently doesn’t work due to his studies taking up most of his time which is what makes it harder. any advice would be appreciated both from females and males.

Hi. i currently have not been diagnosed with vaginismus but have been having issues for about a year. prior to my marriage i hadn’t been active with anyone. in the beginning it was really painful but i thought that was normal. now that it’s almost been a year the pain hasn’t stopped. i’m unable to do many positions and even struggle with missionary. we’ve learnt to put a really high pillow under my lower back in order for it to go somewhat in. i’m still able to have sex but it takes about 45 mins to an hour to even get it in. so any advice would be appreciated and whether i should look into vagnisimus care.
