I haven’t been a customer of Telus for 2yrs. I was fully integrated previous to that. My services were *awful* and the customer service even worse. As a small example, I couldn’t keep reception on calls at my home and much of the time couldn’t make calls at all. It took 3 YEARS to get an honest agent who told me that the area I am in (central in a large city) didn’t get reception and I needed to switch to internet calling in case there is an emergency where I have to call 911. (Super interesting that there is now a lawsuit for that)

I told EVERY AGENT for the first year to put me on the do not call list. Still received 1-3 calls a week. I finally spent the 2.5hrs on hold to talk with Telus…who assured me that I was now on their own internal do not call list. The calls didn’t stop. I put myself on the national do not call list. The calls are fewer now - maybe once a month…but wtf. Still getting calls. I got one this morning and when the said “this is so and so calling from Telus” I simply said “it is illegal for you to be calling me…I am on the do not call list” - in typical call center fashion they just hung up on me.

How the hell do I get the calls from Telus to end?? Do I have to go the extra mile and waste another second of my energy on this ridiculous company by reporting them to the crtc?
