Getting Item from DC to store
I wonder if I could ask you good people in the know two questions.
A month ago, I ordered an induction cooktop. It was delivered to the Distribution Center in Georgia, about 2 hours from my local store in Florida, early last week.
Since then, I have been told (by Lowes.com, the 800 technology hub, and the local store) that they have absolutely no idea when it will be delivered to the store for me to pick up. So my two questions:
a) what should I expect for a timeframe as to when Lowes will get it from the DC to my store. Does it usually take about a week, two weeks, a month?
b) the store tells me that they have NO idea what is on the truck coming to their store. Honestly, I have a hard time believing that, because any organization would want to know what is coming in, what needs to be stocked, what customer orders are coming in, etc. Are they telling me the truth, or are they just ill-informed?
Appreciate your responses. Thank you.
