I loaded up Perimeter Solos last night, I was Thief just messing around. I was in Overflow (no warden spawn). I thought I heard steps but didn’t see anyone. As im about to turn the corner, Assassin’s cloak wears off and he’s holding an M77, I have a bully. We’re about 7M apart trading shots and I was lucky enough to get the kill.
He gets on prox and says GG, tells me he has a key for the room upstairs. Im veryyyy suspicious of players because I know what I signed up for in this game lol. I gave him my ONLY self res and he gets himself up. I then see him heal up and he keeps his gun out so I get suspicious. I’m playing ring around the rosie simply because I still don’t trust him lol. I shoot him again super low and he’s like I promise im not up to anything lol. I said dude, if you try to shoot me I will kill you and if you have a key you don’t get to use it anymore.
We go to the key room and the entire time we’re looting I keep exiting containers to check and make sure he’s not up to anything lol. He says good luck and im like no no no, we’re gonna exfil together and watch each other’s backs. We get to the guarded exfil and even then, I made sure the whole time that my back wasn’t to him because I know that you can get snaked at ANY time lol I didn’t relax until I completely exfilled; and that rush the whole time was why this game is so cool.
