Description:
Everglen is a cozy RPG set on a mysterious island full of farming, mining, fishing, quests, and characters to meet. In the demo, players can grow 20 different crops, purchase animals, mine for gold, stone, and gems, and fish around the island. You can also meet several NPCs, complete quests, earn gold, and compete for your place on the leaderboard. As you explore, you will learn more about the island’s story and the people who live there. I also created the full soundtrack myself, which includes around 12 unique songs, including background music, shop music, and tracks for specific NPC interactions. It has been a long journey to reach the demo release, and I’m excited to finally share Everglen with players and hear what people think.

I’m the founder and sole developer behind Opal Studios, a boutique software and plugin development studio focused on indie games, music technology, creative tools, and audio plugins.

I design, build, and ship the studio’s products myself, which allows Opal Studios to stay lean, move quickly, and maintain a consistent creative direction. I also collaborate with artist friends on creative assets and product presentation/marketing, while I handle the architecture, engineering, technical vision, and execution.
