I’m sure many have seen my previous post about getting a Mustang and selling my Supra and thank you for the comments! I have decided that I will probably keep the Supra as it is such a cool and unique car. Since many seemed interested in the Supra I figured I’d make a post to show it off a bit more. It’s a 1987 Supra and it had a 7MGE under the hood. I rebuilt the engine cause it was sold to me with rod knock but the previous owner didn’t tell me and I’m fairly certain hid it from me. Despite this, it’s running great now, not a super powerful engine but at least it’s running! Only thing left to fix now is to get a new tps (throttle position sensor) and maybe an IAC (idle air control valve) if the tps doesn’t help. I have a code for a bad tps so I’m hoping thats all I’ll need. I have some more pictures on the post so yall can all see the beauty of it! Thanks again for the advice and kind comments!

Hello everyone! I have this 1987 Toyota Supra which I absolutely love, but I’ve been having a lot of issues with. The guy sold me a bad engine so I had it rebuilt and it’s been nothing but issues for over a year now. It’s finally about to be perfect with no engine issues and I’m waiting to fix my tps and IAC system to have a proper startup. Despite this I’ve been considering selling it to buy an old 68’ mustang I found which has been a dream car for as long as I can remember. I bought the Supra in an attempt to learn to do car work myself, however with the rareness for parts for this car it is hell to work on myself as someone without the money to afford it. So now I’m thinking about selling the Supra to get enough money to buy this Mustang I found on marketplace and I wanna work on it myself as it’s in ok condition. The money I’d make from the Supra would be more than enough to buy the mustang and have money to fix it up, but the Supra would take a lot more and I’m scared to work on it with the cost/rarity of part. With the mustang I think it would be easier to work on myself as parts are more common and less expensive and I’d be able to do a build myself, but at the same time I love the uniqueness of my mk3. I’m stuck on what to do and want some advice. Thanks I know it’s a lot of info lol!
