u/THEONLYCOOLBREEZE I saw your Cutlass posted and just had to share my ‘68 Tempest. Would be cool if we could cruise around together in our beeyootiful green machines.

Guy was smashing the pedal and driving it too not just out for Sunday drive. Made me smile.
I would love this as a daily driver.
Howdy! I'm working on restoring my Torino, and I'm missing a few parts that are hard to find, or that ebay sellers want ridiculous money for (like $40 for 2 radio mounting bezel nuts - before shipping). I'm hoping that this community of classic car enthusiasts might be able to help me find the parts that I'm missing. Do y'all mind if I post parts requests here, or is there a better place?
We asked Claude but got mixed results. Unsure what it actually is but very curious!
I have a Jaguar 1970 E type straight six. I had a shop do a bunch of work on it to get it ready for summer driving. I spent 15 grand on the items in these pictures. After driving it 10 miles home from the shop and then one other drive a week later 2 miles. The third time I started it after picking it up from the shop the engine caught fire. The shop is saying that it had nothing to do with what they worked on. I’m hoping smarter people than me can help me figure out what to do here. They are willing to fix it if they find out that it was their fault. But I doubt they will take fault to voluntarily. They have insurance, but don’t want to do an insurance claim. Any insight? Any advice?
