This keyboard saves me from typing the same replies across WhatsApp, Instagram & everywhere on my phone - ReplyKit
Built this mainly because I was tired of copy-pasting the same messages every day across different apps. Now I can save :
- replies
- links
- images
and use them anywhere from the keyboard itself.
824 downloads and $96 with fully ASO within 20 Days without ZERO$ Spending ,No paid ads
Started taking App Store optimization seriously recently and the difference has been surprising. Small changes in keywords, screenshots, and subtitle increased both impressions and conversion rate much more than I expected.
Still learning, but organic App Store traffic feels very underrated for indie apps. What ASO changes gave you the biggest improvement?
824 iOS downloads and $96 with fully ASO within 20 Days without ZERO$ Spending ,No paid ads
I’ve been experimenting with ASO seriously for the last few weeks on my iOS app and wanted to share some results because I honestly underestimated how powerful App Store search can be.
Current numbers:
- first-time downloads
- impressions
- in-app purchases
I’m a solo founder and most of the traffic came from:
- App Store keyword optimization
- Screenshot/title testing
No paid ads yet.
Biggest thing I learned:
Good keywords alone are not enough.
Your screenshots and app icon heavily affect conversion once people land on the page.
Things that helped me:
- targeting smaller keywords first
- rewriting subtitle multiple times
- focusing screenshots on actual use cases instead of features
- posting problem/solution style content on Reddit
- improving onboarding flow
Still learning every day, but seeing organic downloads come in from App Store search for the first time feels really motivating.
Would love to hear:
What has worked best for you recently in ASO or organic growth?
900+ Users & $145 Revenue With Zero Marketing Spend 🚀
I’m a solo founder and recently launched a small productivity app.
In the first week it reached:
• 900+ users
• $145 revenue
• $0 spent on ads
The funny part?
I think I spent more time researching keywords than writing code 😅
Most of the growth came from App Store Optimization:
- localized the app into 19 languages
- tested keywords constantly
- improved screenshots and metadata again and again
I also used ChatGPT and Claude heavily for keyword research and positioning ideas. At this point they honestly feel like my AI co-founders.
This was a big learning moment for me because I’ve built multiple products before and around 4 of them failed with almost no traction.
Now I finally understand that a product people can discover will always beat a product nobody sees.

I’m a solo founder, but honestly my co-founders are basically ChatGPT and Claude 😅
I recently launched my app and in the first week it crossed:
- 900+ users
- $145 revenue
- all with $0 spent on ads
Most of the growth came from ASO.
I localized the app into 19 languages and spent an insane amount of time doing keyword research, testing titles/subtitles, and improving screenshots. I probably spent more time on ASO than actual coding.
ChatGPT and Claude helped me a lot with:
- keyword ideas
- localization
- metadata optimization
- positioning angles
This was also kind of an eye opener for me because I’ve built multiple apps before and around 4 of them failed completely.
Now I finally understand that building the product is only half the game. Distribution matters just as much.

My First Indie App Reached 900+ Users in a Week With Zero Ad Spend
A week ago I launched my app without any budget for ads, influencers, or paid promotions.
Today it has:
• 900+ users
• $145 in revenue
• all from organic traffic
Most of the growth came from App Store Optimization, posting on Reddit, and people sharing it with others.
I know the numbers are small compared to big startups, but for a solo builder this feels huge.
Big lesson so far: marketing and distribution are just as important as building the product.
Would love to hear how other indie hackers got their first users.
