Hi all! Brand new to the hobby and have just set out my first layout! This will be an all dcc layout using the nce power cab and kato unitrack.

I’ve only got the outer two loops powered with feeders ( ran them directly into the back of the power bank after splicing ) and now I’m beginning the process of adding a bus line and connecting feeders to it so all lines have power and will be able to add my other locos.

My issue I’ve ran into is that reverse section in the middle that I planned on using for direction changes. BIG OOF

Obviously the polarity is screaming no no no, so I was wondering how to fix the issue. I was wondering if insulating the last switch in the “yard” section and the switch on the far side would isolate that sections power. Then was going to just add the feeder to the bus like normal but that’s just not mathing correctly in my in experienced brain. The polarity still would transfer after the switch in one direction….. right?

Mind you I’m also terrible with wiring so this is quite daunting!!!

Terribly sorry if the wording in any of that was bad. Like I said, brand new to the hobby so anything would help!
