Permanent crowns temp cement
Got permanent zirconia crowns last week, but they were temp cemented bc I wasn't happy with shape and color. They were slightly adjusted the day I first saw them. Dentist said we will temp cement them and will discuss again at next appointment. We'll, next appointment was today, and after discussing further, dentist agreed to send them back to lab to either refine or redo.
He couldn't get them off. I felt/heard some crunching sounds, but they wouldn't budge. Dentist stopped, and said we will try again at next appointment in June, and if anything he might have to cut them off.
I need to go to lab for them to better color match & to see how the crowns sit in my mouth for better refinement (soon)
1st I was told new crowns will be ready at next appointment, then told unsure, might still need to get these off before lab starts on refinement/redo.
Number 8 has some slight discomfort/pain now. Should I be concerned?
Is this normal? Did they accidentally permanently cement them? I am worried about core damage on those teeth from trying to pry them off me.
I am very anxious as I wasn't expecting the crowns to not fit my face and mouth, and now dealing with all of these things.
