My manager, she’s new by the way outside hire, is being very strict about sick time and attendance. She also said that she wishes the sick time policy didn’t exist so people can be held accountable. Last Friday I got sent home for throwing up by another shift supervisor, and I only have eight hours of sick time. I did clock in that day. I didn’t call out. My manager texted me yesterday that I had to use sick time for being sent home that day or else I was gonna be held accountable under the time and attendance policy. Does that make sense? She also printed a list of everyone’s callouts. Supervisors pass around in the huddle. I am just confused cause the last story I wasn’t like this.
