pc shutting off on its own on startup OR at random
when i turn on my pc it will log in, and go to my home screen for a couple seconds before powering off (not a black screen or BSOD, just the “powering off” message + shutdown) turning it on after this will lead to it running perfectly fine for (up to) many hours before doing it again
the most recent errors in my windows event viewer are:
“A provider, IntelMEProv, has been registered in the Windows Management Instrumentation namespace root\Intel_ME to use the LocalSystem account. This account is privileged and the provider may cause a security violation if it does not correctly impersonate user requests.”
“The server {5F7F3F7B-1177-4D4B-B1DB-BC6F671B8F25} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.” (multiple of these with differences in the text in the {})
“Updated Secure Boot certificates are available on this device but have not yet been applied to the firmware. Review the published guidance to complete the update and maintain full protection. and lastly
“A timeout was reached (45000 milliseconds) while waiting for the Intel(R) Platform License Manager Service service to connect.”
any help would be greatly appreciated as this bug has severely lowered my efficiency due to power offs, if its a software or hardware issue, i’d really like to know what to do, tysm
