Is the chat history back or no

Erm so i've been waiting for this update bcs they said we can read our old chats again but nothing changed.i haven't seen anyone here who got their chats back(including me).plus they said they were gonna fix the grey wall bug but mine is still weird 🫩
The only thing that has changed is those hideous ad banner on top of my chats like bffr
