Is "woman's month" patronizing? Shouldn't woman's month be every day?

Technically woman's history month should be all year and everyday, so I was wondering if only having a month for women is really patronizing? All schools and institutions should consistently teach their students to think about women's oppression and women's lives and make it a daily practice no?
