We recently flew to Thailand through Alaska and are told we cannot receive any points for the international legs because it was “class Q” through Cathay Pacific. That’s about 18 hours of flying and a couple grand I can’t get points for.
Anyone have any insight on this?

We did receive our points for our short flight we were physically on an Alaska plane but none for the Cathay legs

Since it was our honeymoon my husband booked and I am always the one who books our travel. I have no idea what he did differently or I would be fighting them about this
