Bleeding 6-weeks post-op, continuous birth control?
I had a robotic myomectomy that removed 15 fibroids about 6 weeks ago, and it feels like this past week I've had relatively worsening symptoms of what I would consider "heavy spotting" and cramping.
I've started to become more active since I got clearance at 4-weeks and I dont have a follow-up for 6 months. Went to some crossfit classes and took it EASY with just bodyweight or empty bars, but perhaps even that was overdoing it. Ive been feeling great otherwise, but now it feels like I'm having period cramps and having heavier spotting.
I have been on continuous birth control since before the surgery and directly after, so I SHOULDNT be having a period, but wondering if the surgery sort of messed up my hormones anyway and could technically be a "period".
Anyone have similar stories of bleeding after starting up exercise again? Did I fuck something up or is this to be expected?
