I play Badminton and Beach Tennis occasionally in Wuhlheide with friends, but of course, not everybody can make it at any given time.

So I thought why not extent this for bored redditors from the Karlshort, Schöneweide, Köpenick area and maybe this can become a regular weekly sport date with a fixed location for the summer months ahead.

The idea is to just meet up casually and play a few sports with rackets or kick any ball or footbag and have some friendly exercise. Come as you are, bring what you like.

I would like to suggest the sunday evening, 18:00, when the park quiets down. The location will inside Wuhlheide near the FEZ tram stop (I will place a map marker later)

Berliner Diabetes-Spaziergang, Mittwoch, 06.05., 16:00 Uhr

Alright, something new just dropped besides dark and sketchy clubs and the average organic psychadelic swinger party for non extroverts aged 50+ and under from outside the ring: The first Berlin diabetes walk starting from different locations all over the city.

If you ever felt like joining regular local people for a group walk around your area or explore a new Kiez, this is the way to go! The expected age group will likely be a bit older than your usual r/berlinsocialclub user, but this will be a great opportunity to meet real Berliners, make use of your ever improving German language skills and talk to them about the city, zhe Kiez, it's history, life in general and whatever they or you feel like sharing. Being mobile outside meeting new people makes for easy conversations and connections. And it comes with a free blood sugar test. It's amazing.

And if some of you decide to meet up there and go together, you get the best of both worlds.
