am i looking too much into this?
hii, I (19F) have been talking to this other girl (19F) for around a month.
We’ve known each other since the start of high school through mutual friends and would talk here and there, but we’ve started talking to each other lately and have gotten close !
A bit of info ig:
-she works/ goes out a lot w her friends
Throughout the past month she’s done a few things that have made me think she’s interested in me for example:
- Drove all the way to my campus before her shift to drop off lunch for me
-Came by my house to pick up something small (a keychain i got her) and up brought me a few treats. We ended up walking around my neighborhood talking and when she left she texted me saying exactly this ( i copied/ pasted)
“ It was fun being able to talk with you, I love just hanging out w you whenever I can it's always fun even if it's small. I do wanna hang out with you more and get to know you even more !” I was super excited to hear this and said i’d love to hangout w her too!
- For a while we’ve been planning a SF trip but last week we made it official and decided on a day. We ended up going on May 6 and spent the entire day together in SF. We went out to eat (she paid), walked around japantown, went to a few parks, and took a bunch of pictures together/ of each other. There were a lot of times where she offered to carry my jacket/ bag which i found super sweet! We went to this park and ended up sitting on the grass super close to each other, I said something like “I wanna lay down but don’t want to get anything on my hair” she proceeded to take off her jacket and offered me to lay on it (MIND YOUU it was super chilly that day) we both ended up laying down together and talking for half an hour before we decided it was time to leave. We arrived back at her place and hugged each other goodbye and that was pretty much it! When i got home i sent a text saying “I had sm fun today hopefully we get the chance to hangout again!” she replied saying “I had fun too! Let’s hang out again”
The next day we continued like normal, texting each other here and there. She worked that day so I didn’t expect much replies from her. Around noon our convo stopped and i didn’t get a reply back until the next day around noon. I didn’t think much of it since she did work all day so i left it at that and tried to continue our conversation.
It’s Saturday and our conversations have been spaced out a lot, we’ve had a few conversations here and there but I guess not like before?? The replies are coming a bit late now… I guess after the hangout my feelings for her grew a bit more which is making me overthink this situation a lot. I really like her she’s sweet and so kind. I don’t want to come out super strong with my feelings and force anything yk?
it’s been a month so it’s still pretty early to determine anything really but ughh i can’t help but overthink the situation what should i do? 😣😣😣🙏🙏
