my class has been working on our evidence public speaking speech and it was my friends turn to go today, she was called out of the next period for our sport after the speech class and emailed my teacher about how it could collide with our class for some reason 2 days ago?? Idk but then today 2 periods before the speech class she said she got a pass to go to the office during the period our speech is, I told her to prioritize the speech because our teacher made it clear you can’t just not show up then try to fix it later, then she never comes to class also has no slide on the slide deck, didnt tell our teacher anything and everyone had to be moved up. Everyone’s calling me mean and acting like she HAD to go to the office..like she couldn’t just tell them she had to do something in class when she had time or go after the speech? Idk why but this is bothering me she could tell I was annoyed and we talked about it and at the end of the day it has nothing to do with me but I can’t shake this ick feeling. We all didn’t want to do the speech but everyone did it and now she’s saying she can just do it 1 on 1 with the teacher which idk bc it was meant ro be a public speaking presentation. what should I do I feel guilty feeling annoyed why am I feeling this way
