THIS THURSDAY WORKSHOP: Letting Go of Resentment @ Flower Cat
Holding on to some stuff that doesn't feel great? Maybe it's a breakup, maybe a big life change, or something from the past that sticks with you. Let's study the psychology of resentment.
On Thursday, April 9th at 7:30 we are gathering at Flower Cat to better understand what resentment is actively teaching us and how to let it go.
This is a 90-minute workshop drawing from attachment theory, relational psychology, and somatics. We will examine:
- How resentment forms from unexpressed needs and unspoken expectations
- Why it's easier to resent than to ask directly or set boundaries
- What resentment reveals about power, fairness, and what we believe we deserve
- The difference between healthy anger and corrosive resentment
- How resentment lives in the body and what release actually requires
- Practices for moving from resentment toward repair, boundary-setting, or letting go
Hosted by Aubrey Aust, MA relational psychology and philosophy
