In the process of buying my first home and gonna be moving in soon with my gf, need advice about protecting my asset. We have been on and off over the past 3 years and just need some advice as to whether I need a BFA or not since we got back together in April after a month separated. Will I need a prenup or is a stat dec an option, stating that we have been together since april(if that's even a thing you can stat dec)? Does the defacto thing reset in the eyes of the law? Also, should I or should I not charge rent/utilities? Any and all help is appreciated, cheers
