So basically someone totaled my car and my insurance canceled my policy bc they knew it was totaled and were doing me a “favor” and now the dmv is going to suspend my license of i don’t submit this vehicle code section: 16484 and surrender my license by may 2nd because i stopped paying my sr22. I was wondering since I just got the new policy w the sr22 form paid would I still need to surrender my license even if the dmv gets the proof before the 2nd?
