I [37F] met a guy [29M] and we started hanging out. We never did anything physical. He left his phone in my car unbeknownst to me and when I went to go return it. I got curious and wanted to see what my contact name was in his phone. I don't have access to his phone but he had semi visible notifications on the pull down tab while locked. While looking for my message; I was shocked to see that he had a Grindr notification. No shade, if that's his lifestyle. But I was unaware of that and taken aback. When I asked him about it later; he quickly responded that he had the app to "catch a predator." "On my drunk nights, I would post photos of children I would find online and see if any guy would respond. Then go meet up and whoop a**." Now to me that sounds like a preposterous statement. Regardless if it's true or false, that is predatory behavior imo. He later further explained by stating his little brother was SA'd when he was a child and he was seeking vengeance or something.
He didn't tell me anything; I was under the impression he was pursuing me.
