Wondering wtf is wrong with my mouth?? Had deep decay in bottom molar, dentist said it’s very very close to the nerve and it’s 50/50 whether a clean out and filling would work. Tooth painful and sensitive for a couple of weeks but seems to have died down now
Has been 4 weeks since the procedure now and an abscess has appeared on the gum below the affected tooth. Appears quite small when I wake up and then gets bigger throughout the day (especially if I chew on that side)
Saw the dentist again today, he took an xray and said the tooth looks completely fine with no signs of infection or decay left in it. He said it’s probably gum related, prescribed me amoxcillin and told me to come back if it gets worse
Anyone know what this could possibly be? Was psyching myself up for it to need a root canal or something but apparently that isn’t the case?
