I have an HP Omen Transcend 14 that's running CachyOS at the moment (Core Ultra 9 185H and RTX 4070 config in case that matter), and of course HP has zero support for their programs on Linux that control RGB on Windows. I want to figure out how to get the RGB to change to be at least a solid color, because right now its a ugly gamer split default, but it doesn't need to be OpenRGB level. Speaking of, OpenRGB doesn't see the keyboard in any form I could find. I also haven't been able find what the system sees the RGB backlight as at all. One notable hint at whats happening that I don't know how to interpret is this: for about 5 seconds after it makes it to Limine on booting up, the keyboard does a cool (and more tolerable than current if i could make it keep that) RGB rainbow breathing pattern, until the ugly split pattern comes back. During that time, turning the backlight off and back on just sets it to the split. My best guess of what that means is the HID chip is taking over and using its setting because the OS isnt telling it anything. Please if anyone knows anything about Omen and how this stuff is handled, I'd really appreciate any knowledge of what's going on. I really just want anything BUT whats currently happening.

If there's a better place for this post, please let me know! I'm new to this area of Reddit.
I can give more info if I forgot something!
