If your Walmart sales slow down, check this area — most sellers overlook it
A lot of sellers don’t realize this, but when sales suddenly drop or certain SKUs stop moving, it’s often because something caused the item to become unpublished. Walmart doesn’t always notify you, so you have to look for it manually.
One of the easiest ways to catch these issues is to regularly review the Pricing section in Seller Center. Look for anything that shows a warning or caution indicator. Those usually mean Walmart thinks there’s a pricing conflict somewhere.
If you see one, open it up and review the competitor information. Sometimes the data Walmart is using is outdated, missing shipping costs, or just not accurate. When that happens, you can open a support case and let them know the competitive info needs to be reviewed for that SKU.
Choosing the correct case category helps it get routed to the right team. Once support reviews it, the listing will update after they make the correction.
This simple check has solved a lot of “mystery slow sales” situations for me, so hopefully it helps someone else too.
