Only Job

Is this anybody else’s only job? It is for me and although I know that’s not great, it’s definitely a blessing to have regardless. However it is hard when you talk to people and they ask what you do because a lot of people don’t like the kind of work we do so I kinda have to lie and say I just don’t have a job, which I’m really not lying about since this is not a formal job. And then I feel like they see me as a loser. But I just don’t feel capable/able to get a job, especially full time, mainly due to a health issue I’m dealing with that’s wearing me down and would affect my performance, but also due to the job market just being so competitive and not many jobs being open compared to the number of people applying. Anyone else relate?

Genuine question. I am trying to work on getting these issues fixed and will hopefully have a breath test done in a month or so at a clinic (I don’t trust myself to do the one at home right). I strongly suspect I am dealing with this because I bloat up more and more throughout the day, wake up much flatter, have floating stools every time, and acid reflux that starts around the same time I get bloated and start burping. I really don’t even get hungry anymore. Sometimes I even get regurgitation from a bottle of water in the morning. I feel like this has really stripped me of being a full person and enjoying life without having to continuously monitor my body and feeling uncomfortable with constant acid regurgitation and burping and brain fog and constipation and by trying to find the energy to do things even the things that I want to do. What keeps me going is that things have the chance to be much better, even if that is several months from now.
