Spoiler Warning: This is about the Wano Arc

I‘m Watching Wano Arc right now and am at episode 1054. I don‘t know what will happen next but a question occured my mind: Would Law technically be able to cancel Basil Hawkins Vodoo doll ability where he keeps the Life of Kid as hostage ?

For example if Law would take Kids heart and Killer stabs Basil Hawkins heart would kid be still affected since he has no heart in his body or am i tripping? In theory basil hawkins heart would be stabbed but would it transfer to the heart that law would technically hold in his hands ?
