Can I afford this watch?

24M with no debt other than a car (14k)

I have enough saved that I could buy my dream watch ($7,750) but don’t know if it’s ok at this stage in my life. This young, I feel it is not smart to purchase something like this because it’s not common for people to do so, or many people this age to be in the position to purchase a “want” this high.

I know I can put this money elsewhere, but while I’m young and capable of affording with saved money, and able to move on in life without worry of not begging able to pay rent on time, purchase necessities, etc, is it better to do now than later in life, when I will have to be saving to afford taking care of a house, a family, etc?

I contribute 14% of my paychecks to retirement fund already, which is more than fair I believe, but something makes me feel weird about spending this amount of money, as I never have bought something, other than a car, more than this.

Please just tell me I am dumb, or overreacting, as I would love to hear others thoughts.

So I am attempting to get back into the jewelry game, but on a very subtle scale.

I used to have gold ropes (lost due to failed clasps), Louis Vuitton bracelets (lost because they are cheap shit and fall off) and other silver and designer jewelry (lost, lost, and lost 😐). Due to my carelessness and inability to keep a piece for over a year strait, I took a break and went without with a while.

Well, now I am somewhat older, and have gained more of a sense of “responsibility” you could say.

My question is, considering these three pieces below are the only pieces I wear now (daily), which should I double up on? A second watch, necklace, or bracelet.

What I have now:

-Tiffany Venetian link bracelet (925)

-David Yurman 2.7mm (925) chain with David Yurman 27mm (925) Deco Cross pendant

-Tag Heuer Aquaracer 40mm

Sticking with silver tone color, what are some stackable options I should consider, and if I were to only get a second for one category, what should it be?

Appreciate any tips!
