I am experiencing overheating issues with my laptop after a recent graphics update.

I have been playing Albion Online for about 500 hours, and I've never experienced heating issues, even when running it on medium to high graphics settings. My laptop would get a bit warm after around 4-5 hours, which I thought was normal. However, ever since the new graphics update for Albion, my laptop has begun to overheat within just 30 minutes, even on low graphics settings. I'm not sure why this is happening. I have tried switching the Albion launcher, but the problem persists. If anyone else is facing the same issue or knows how to solve it, please let me know!

EDIT:

so after few tweaks and googling i find out one way to reduce heating which is:

  • Go to Control Panel > Power Options > Change plan settings > Change advanced power settings.
  • Find Processor power management > Maximum processor state.
  • Change "Plugged in" from 100% to 99%.
  • then go in-game and turn off v-sync and do fps cap 60fps and change to full screen mode
  • if u have operating/power mode in ur laptop u can switch to Silent mode.

this will reduce heating problem its work for me

I created my first bot.

I created my first bot, Midnight Cafe...for my server, but it's a public bot too.

This bot is designed to present math problems every hour, based on the difficulty level chosen in the chat. Currently, there are three difficulty modes:

  • Brainlet: School-level math
  • Scholar: Undergraduate-level math
  • Genius: Postgraduate-level math

Here’s how the bot works:

Each time a problem is presented, the first person to answer correctly wins and adds a +1 win streak, and their name is showcased. After that, there is a one-hour cooldown before the next problem is given.

I've also implemented a leaderboard for tracking scores. It's not database-connected yet, as I'm still figuring that part out, but I plan to add that functionality soon.

Additionally, I’m not using any paid API; I created my own. To ensure variety, once a problem is given, it won't repeat for the next five days.

Here are the current commands available:

  • /setup [channel_name] [difficulty_level]
  • /ans [difficulty_level]: Admin-only command to provide the answer to the active problem
  • /give: Force the next problem to drop and ignore the cooldown
  • /leaderboard: View the leaderboard

I was just wondering and trying out new weapons, so I thought, "Let's try something new," and I bought a T4 Witchwork Staff and tested it in the Black Zone. While I was heading back to the safe zone, I decided to try a dungeon, and I found this legendary loot, but I wasn't able to defeat the boss. 😢

I have a good knowledge of computers and programming, and I want to start earning this year. I've been learning web development, but I'm finding the backend aspects quite challenging. Recently, a friend suggested that try to learn data analytics instead, saying it might be better than web development. According to him, frontend web development is becoming less relevant because AI can create much better web pages in just a few minutes and can handle some backend tasks as well.

After discussing this with my friend, I did some research online and found that many people are recommending data analytics as a promising career path. I'm at a crossroads and want to choose the right direction. Should I pursue data analytics or continue with web development?

I want to avoid wasting my time on something that may become obsolete and make it difficult for me to find a job in the future.

Thanks!

Hey, I am 20 years old and very interested in programming and coding. I want to make some really awesome things, and I have ideas and plans too, but I don’t know how to code. I have basic knowledge like HTML, CSS, and a bit of JS, but that’s all.

I know in the world of AI, people say use this AI for the frontend and this for the backend, but I want to understand. AI can’t create things the way I want, and even if it can, I have no idea how it’s working. For example, if something breaks, it takes me hours of chatting with AI just to realise it’s only about a few minutes of work if I knew what was really going on.

So that’s why, after creating many web projects by using AI mindlessly and so-called prompt engineering, I realise that if I do this in the long run, it won’t help me when I do jobs and stuff.

So yeah, I want to learn now, but I have no idea how, so I came here for guidance.

Thanks
